Corporate Officers Forum 2024 October 2-4, 2024 Delta Grand Okanagan Resort, Kelowna, BC Attendance is reserved for Corporate Officers and Deputy Corporate Officers only. Since 2006, this educational offering has focused on emerging trends and legal and legislative changes of relevance to BC local government Corporate Officers. The 2024 Forum will feature local government experts to support you as a key trusted officer, tasked with safeguarding information and providing service to elected officials, staff, and the public. Take this opportunity to come together to connect and learn as a community. Review the 2023 forum brochure for reference. The 2024 program is currently under development. CO Forum Rates: Early Bird member rate: $765 + GST / Early Bird non-member rate: $890 + GST Regular member rate: $865 + GST / Regular non-member rate: $940 + GST Hotel Accommodations: Delta Grand Okanagan Resort: 95 rooms booked at $269 + GST (* rooms not subject to resort fee) Reservations must be made by September 11, 2024. Will post reservation link once the program is open for registration. Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be provided after September 17, although substitutions to your Deputy Corporate Officer are permitted. Administrative Professionals Conference October 23-25, 2024 Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour Hotel Victoria, BC This popular conference has returned! If you are an Executive Assistant, Office Coordinator, Supervisor, Clerk or Front-line staff working in BC local or First Nations government organizations, this conference has been designed for you. Opportunities to network with peers, discuss important issues of common concern and develop strategies to address them, plus a few wellness activities will be included. Review the 2023 program brochure for reference. The 2024 program is under development. Conference Rates: Early Bird Rate: $875 + GST / Regular Rate: $925 + GST Hotel Accommodations: Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour: 85 rooms booked at $239 + GST Reservations must be made by September 23, 2024. Will post reservation link once the program is open for registration. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted without penalty before 4:30 p.m. on October 16, 2024. 2024 CAO Dinner Sunday, September 15, 2024 Steamworks BrewPub Vancouver, BC New to 2024, the LGMA will hold a CAO Dinner as a chance to connect with colleagues during UBCM week in Vancouver, BC. The LGMA is proud to carry forward and facilitate a space for peer-learning that was originally championed by CAOs within the sector. Join your fellow CAOs for dinner and engage in discussion, share peer strategies and learn from each other at this informal networking dinner. Building a Strong Foundation February 20-22, 2024 Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, Vancouver, BC Registration is limited to CAOs, appointed Deputy CAOs and Executive Director CEOs of Affiliate Members. CAO Forum sessions can be used towards Continuous Professional Learning credits. The CAO Forum is an annual offering for local government Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) to meet with their colleagues and discuss issues of mutual concern in a congenial atmosphere. Pre-forum Workshop: Human Resources Fundamentals Tuesday, February 20, 1-5 p.m. $190 member rate; $225 non-member rate + GST register for the pre-forum workshop Review the program brochure and register online before February 6, 2024. $730 + GST LGMA Member Early Bird Rate until December 31, 2023 $825 + GST LGMA Member rate; $900 non-member rate as of January 1, 2024. $50 meal tickets are available for spouses for Wednesday off-site dinner only.
