LGMA's Constitution and Bylaws were adopted at the Annual General Meeting on June 17, 2015 and amended on October 16, 2020.

The LGMA office is located on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) Peoples, also known as the Xʷsepsəm (Kosapsum) and Songhees Nations, whose relationships with the land continue to this day. We extend our gratitude to them and to the many Indigenous Nations on whose territories we work.
