Unlike larger levels of government, working locally allows you to see how different departments collaborate and how your contributions directly impact the community. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness the tangible results of your work.”
  • "The Local Government Internship Program is an amazing opportunity if you are curious about a career in local government. LGMA provides you with so much support and is invested in the interns' success at their host municipalities. As a municipal intern, you will be able to get a glimpse into every department, be a part of meaningful projects, and make professional connections. I have gained invaluable hands-on experience.”
