Registration is now open
Complimentary Peer Learning Opportunity and Exposure to Experienced Practitioners
Are you a local government communications professional who is juggling media calls, social media flare-ups, “urgent” last-minute projects, and big expectations with limited time and tools? Do you ever wish you had a trusted circle of peers you could bounce ideas off, gut-check your approach, or simply ask, “Is it just me, or is this wild?”
Join your colleagues for a complimentary LGMA-hosted virtual lunch hour where communications pros can share real-world challenges, swap practical solutions, and build connections with people who understand exactly what it’s like to be the calm, clear voice in the middle of the storm.
Submit your suggested discussion topics, questions, or challenging scenarios in advance through the Comms Connect Lunch Topics form or by emailing Vanessa Gelhaar, LGMA Senior Program Manager at vgelhaar@lgma.ca with the subject line: Comms Connect Lunch Series Topics.
Complimentary registration is online for all sessions. Attend one or all with one registration. You will receive an email reminder closer to the date of the session with the Zoom link and any additional information.
Format: This virtual networking series will be offered on the following Thursdays from 12 – 1 p.m. Be sure to hold the 2026 dates in your calendars:
· April 2, 2026
· October 29, 2026
