Building a Businesse Case Workshop - March 12, 2010

Business Cases

The provincial government, municipalities, and regional districts are increasingly asking for business cases to support recommendations for scarce resources. When there's not enough money and management time to do all the really important things that need doing, it's very important to make defendable recommendations and good decisions - to avoid expensive mistakes, - "to get it right the first time". Business cases are therefore becoming a best practice in many municipalities in today's difficult environment.

Learn How To:
  • Use a proven, step-by-step process to prepare high impact business cases
  • Prepare sound cases for grant applications
  • Save time in analyzing problems and opportunities
  • Avoid decision-making pitfalls that could hurt one's credibility
  • Increase the likelihood that your recommendations will be approved

The Workshop
One day, fast-moving, highly interactive, packed with useful ideas, and enjoyable too! Maximum of 18 people per workshop to facilitate learning. Each attendee receives a comprehensive Text & Workbook, written in plain English, to keep as a handy reference. The Workshop leader is available at no charge for a 90-day period post-workshop to answer questions from attendees as they build their business cases.
