The LGMA regularly holds one and/or two day workshops to provide local government staff with up-to-date information on a variety of topics such as Records Management, Statutory Approving Officers, Business Cases, Bylaw Drafting, Elections, Freedom of Information, and Policy Analysis. Program offerings change each year.

2019 Workshops

Bylaw Drafting & Interpretation Workshop, with Don Lidstone

Thursday, September 12, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, Richmond, BC

Chaired by Don Lidstone, this one-day workshop will provide attendees with vital information that every local government official should know about the bylaw drafting process and how to make your local government’s bylaws effective, understandable, lawful and enforceable.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in bylaw drafting and interpretation in local government.

Fees: $305 +GST LGMA Member; $345 +GST Non-Member
