Optional Pre-conference Workshop: Public Engagement - A Strategic Lens

Now more than ever the public is interested and engaged in what their councils and boards are doing and want to have meaningful input. Expert opinion. Tight budgets. Electoral platforms. Public input. Everyone agrees that public engagement is important, but decision-making can feel like a crowded space.

As the leader in your organization, understanding the importance and having the skills to assist your elected officials and support your staff team with public engagement is critical. This workshop will help you address the tough questions of sponsoring and planning public engagement initiatives.

Registration is separate from the CAO Forum.

Workshop Fees: $290 LGMA member or $330 non-member

Register online before January 28, 2019.
