Awards are presented annually in each of the following categories:
- Life Membership;
- Distinguished Membership;
- Professional Service;
- Distinguished Partners;
- Long Service
The Association's member recognition policy and individual award criteria are attached for your information.
Peer recognition is one of our most valuable ways of ensuring continued excellence throughout the local government management profession. All LGMA members are encouraged to take the time to nominate those members of our profession who they feel are deserving of recognition.
Your Provincial Executive Committee will evaluate the nominations pursuant to the individual award criteria. Nominations must be submitted in writing, identifying the category of recognition and outlining the member's achievement(s) that are to be recognized and noting how the member has fulfilled the criteria for the chosen award nomination.
Deadline for nominations is April 15, 2012, by which date nominations must be received to allow the Committee time to thoroughly evaluate all nominations, requests for extensions to the deadline will not be considered.Go to Top
