Overseas Exchange Program
From 2007 to 2009 the LGMA in partnership with the New Zealand Society of Local Government Managers (SOLGM), facilitated an Overseas Manager Exchange Program
The program provided an opportunity for an LGMA member to enhance his/her skills, competencies and knowledge by traveling to New Zealand for two weeks in late August- early September to attend the SOLGM annual conference and to visit local governments in that country. In return, the successful participant hosted an exchange partner from New Zealand who came to British Columbia for two weeks to attend the LGMA Conference and visit local governments in British Columbia.
