Policy 005: Administrative Operations

POLICY STATEMENT:

It is the policy of the LGMA to review its administrative operations annually.

POLICY BACKGROUND:

In September of 1987 the Board of Directors called for a review of the operations of the LGMA office by the Executive. Subsequent ad hoc reviews have taken place at irregular intervals.

POLICY GOAL:

It is the goal of this policy to provide for an annual review by the Board of Directors of the administrative operations of the LGMA and its Executive Director.

POLICY OBJECTIVES:

  1. To schedule a performance review of the Executive Director and administrative operations prior to the last meeting of the Board of Directors in each year.
  2. To ensure LGMA staff accountability to the Board of Directors.
