Kathleen Day
Kathleen Day started her local government career as the Director of Finance for the District of Lillooet in 1992 while finishing her CGA designation. Her lengthy experience in Lillooet offered her multiple opportunities to expand her experience including appointments as Airport Manager, Acting Director of Recreation and Acting CAO.
In 2009, she left Lillooet and moved to Victoria where she was soon appointed as Director of Finance for the Town of View Royal.
Her involvement in the LGMA started in 2001 as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Thompson-Okanagan Chapter and has now culminated into her current term as LGMA President.
Today, Kathleen has decided to follow her desire for personal growth and is perusing family, volunteer and travel opportunities. Kathleen expects to be back in local government following a six month respite.
