Lynda Floyd

Since 2005 Lynda has been the Chief Administrative Officer/Chief Financial Officer for the Village of Belcarra. In 1981 she began her progressive career in local government when she joined the Township of Langley for 11 years, starting in the Clerk's Department and finishing as the Acting Office Manager for the Engineering Department. In 1992 she joined the Greater Vancouver Regional District for 9 years, holding positions as Electoral Areas Administrative Officer and in the Corporate Secretary's Office. In 2002 she joined the District of West Vancouver and resigned from the Deputy Municipal Clerk position in 2005.

Lynda received her Certificate in Local Government Administration from Capilano College in 2001.

Lynda has been on the executive of the Lower Mainland Chapter since 2004, becoming the Chapter Representative in 2010.
